Tsenta vs every other auto-apply tool (we compared 20 of them)
We benchmarked Tsenta against 20 other auto-apply tools, LazyApply, Simplify, Jobright, Huntr, Teal, JobCopilot, Massive, and more. Here's where we win and where we lose.
every auto-apply tool i've tried is some flavor of broken.
i should know. before we built Tsenta, i spent the better part of two years applying to 1,500+ jobs the manual way, then trying every tool that promised to fix it. none of them worked. some of them were scams.
so we built our own. and then we benchmarked it against 20 of them.
the space is split into two kinds of broken
on one side, the trackers. on the other, the cloud bots.
trackers (Simplify, Huntr, Teal, Jobright, Careerflow) are chrome extensions that autofill your name and email. they cannot log in to anything. you still find the apply button, sign into the portal, and walk through the multi-step form yourself. the extension shaves about 5 minutes off the typing. $24 to $45/month for that.
cloud bots (LazyApply, JobCopilot, Massive, JobHire.AI, AIApply, Wobo, Sorce) actually submit, but the caps are brutal and the latency is worse. LazyApply caps you at 15 to 1,500 apps/day. Massive sells 50/mo at $49 or 200/mo at $99. Wobo takes 3 to 4 days to apply after you swipe. Sorce takes hours. if a role gets 200 applicants by 9am, "we'll get to it later this week" is the same as "we won't."
tsenta sits between them and does what both promise. logs in, navigates, submits, in 2 to 3 seconds, in the cloud. one more tell about how rough this space is: 7 of the 20 competitors hid their pricing behind a signup wall, a 403, or a 404. Simplify, Jobright, Teal, Jobsolv, AIApply, JobHire.AI, Sorce.jobs. when a category starts hiding its prices, it's usually because the prices stopped winning on their own.
why we built Tsenta
we've rebuilt this product three times. version 1 was a Chrome extension that broke every time Workday pushed an update. version 2 was a desktop app that opened a local browser window per application, which made one early user tell us "it looks like a virus." (we agreed. we threw it out.) version 3 is what we have now, which is both a cloud applier and a desktop app, and the cloud part runs in the background while you sleep without making your laptop look possessed.
here's where Tsenta beats the rest.
pricing that matches how you actually apply. three monthly tiers: Starter $19/mo for 600 applications, Pro $39/mo for 1,500, Power $99/mo for 4,500. (the headline comparison is Pro vs Simplify: same $39/mo, except Simplify gets you 1,500 manual autofill clicks and Pro gets you 1,500 real applications submitted.)
free tier to try first. 25 applications, full Pro features, no card. (it's 25 total, not per month, but they don't expire either.)

credit packs that never expire. $19/200, $39/600, $99/2,000. one-time, no rolling deadline. (every other credits-based competitor either resets weekly, switched to monthly caps, or paywalls features per-credit. ours just sit there until you use them.)
eight surfaces, not one. nobody else in the space ships this. tsenta runs on:
- web dashboard at app.tsenta.com
- native desktop app for Mac, Windows, and Linux
- Android app
- iOS app (currently in App Store review)
- Chrome extension
- MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT, and anything else that speaks MCP
- iMessage bot
- WhatsApp bot
most of our competitors are one surface. Sorce is iOS-only. Simplify and Jobright are Chrome extensions plus a web dashboard. Massive, JobCopilot, JobHire.AI, Sonara, AIApply are web tools. you pick how you want to apply, not how their product wants you to.

actually applies, end-to-end. trackers don't apply. most cloud appliers break on Workday, which is where 40% of the real jobs live. Tsenta works on Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Lever, iCIMS, Oracle Cloud, Workable, Paylocity, JazzHR, BambooHR, Jobvite, Rippling, BreezyHR, and UltiPro. those fifteen ATSes cover the vast majority of listed jobs you actually want.

no-bullshit pricing. three monthly tiers, three credit packs, two billing-cycle discounts. that's the whole menu. no "Pro+ for 6 months" trickery. no $999/year unlimited tier that's actually capped at 1,500 LinkedIn Easy Applies a day. no paying $299 for 500 applications that some human in another country has to fill out by hand before the role gets filled. if you outgrow Starter you move to Pro, if you don't want a subscription you buy a pack, that's it.
the comparison table
| Tool | Pricing | Cap | What it actually does | Notable issue |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tsenta | Free 25 apps (no time limit). Pro $39/mo (Starter $19, Power $99). Credit packs $19/$39/$99, never expire. Quarterly saves 32%, annual saves 36%. | 600 / 1,500 / 4,500 per month by tier | applies end-to-end on 15 major ATSes, in 2 to 3 seconds, across 8 surfaces (web, desktop Mac/Win/Linux, Android, iOS, Chrome ext, MCP, iMessage, WhatsApp) | we're biased, but we'll let you find one |
| LazyApply | $99 / $149 / $999 per year (annual subscriptions, not lifetime) | 15 / 150 / 1,500 per day | cloud apply, mostly LinkedIn Easy Apply | $999/yr top tier; quality skews to easy-apply boards |
| Sonara | $23.95/mo or $71.40/yr, unlimited | unlimited on paper | cloud apply via Monster + CareerBuilder partnership inventory | no live transparency, uncited "10x your applications" claim, narrow inventory |

| Massive (UseMassive) | Passive $49/mo (50 apps/mo), Massive+ $99/mo (200 apps/mo); quarterly saves 33% | 50 / 200 per month by tier | cloud apply, web only | 23-step onboarding, 4-day trial requires credit card (no free apps) |

| AIApply | $50/mo for 100 apps + $12 resume optimization + $12 cover letter add-ons (~$74/mo bundle) | 100 apps/mo on the $50 tier | cloud apply with every AI feature metered separately | ~$0.50/app vs our ~$0.03/app at Starter (15x cheaper per app), multiple paywalls |
| ApplyPass | Free 7 apps/wk; Momentum $99/mo (~400/mo); Premium $199/mo (~1,600/mo) | 100 / 400 apps per week by tier | cloud apply, tech roles only | tech-only, $99 to $199 is steep |
| AutoApplyMax | Free / Premium $9.99/mo / Unlimited $29.99/mo | 30 AI credits/mo on Premium, unlimited on top tier | Chrome extension + cloud apply on LinkedIn/Indeed/Glassdoor/WTTJ/Monster, autofill on Greenhouse/Lever/Workday | extension-model, narrower direct ATS submit |
| FastApply.co | $14 Starter (200/mo) / $29 Pro (500/mo) / $49 Elite (1,000/mo). Yearly -40%. | 200 / 500 / 1,000 per month by tier | monthly cloud apply, many platforms still in BETA (Rippling, JazzHR, Workday, iCIMS, Oracle, Taleo) | recently switched from credit packs to monthly; BETA coverage |
| Wobo AI | Free 5 jobs/day; Unlimited $34.99/mo monthly ($29.99 quarterly); Autopilot $44.99/mo monthly ($39.99 quarterly). Quarterly only saves ~14%. | unlimited on paid tiers, but applications arrive 3-4 days after you swipe | web-only cloud apply, swipe-vs-autopilot mode-gating | 3-4 day apply latency; Resume + Cover Letter tabs in the dashboard are empty (no per-job AI tailoring) |
| Jobsolv | not publicly listed (403/auth-gated) | unclear | cloud apply for remote roles | narrow focus, no public pricing |
| Sorce.jobs | $14.99/week or $39.99/mo unlimited. Free tier: 40 apps/day. iOS only. | "unlimited" on paper, but the swipe UI plus required post-apply review caps you around 1,000/mo in practice (no bulk apply); 40/day free | fellow YC company, iOS-only swipe app, apply latency measured in hours, 5-ATS coverage (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, SmartRecruiters, Oracle) | one surface (iOS), 5 ATSes vs our 15, applies take hours not seconds |
| Scale.jobs | $299 / $399 / $1,099 ONE-TIME for 500 / 1,000 / 1,100 apps | the apps you paid for | humans (not software) applying for you | $1.10/app at the top, humans don't scale |
| Simplify | per reports $39.99/mo, gated (/pricing 404) | "premium features", caps not publicly stated | Chrome autofill extension + tracker, cannot log in to anything | $40/mo to save ~5 min/app of typing while you do every other step manually |

| Wonsulting | WonsultingAI Premium $19.99/mo bundles 7 AI tools including AutoApply (free Starter exists). Coaching sold separately with "guaranteed offer in 120 days or you don't pay". | bundled, not itemized | auto-apply is one of 7 bundled AI tools | apply quality not the core of the company |
the deep dives
if you want to go tool-by-tool, we wrote one of these for every single competitor on the list.
cloud appliers we beat:
- Tsenta vs LazyApply, $99 to $999 per year, capped at 15 to 1,500/day on LinkedIn Easy Apply
- Tsenta vs JobCopilot, Premium $28/mo for 600/mo, Elite $31.50/mo for 1,500/mo (needs 3 Copilots)
- Tsenta vs Massive, $49 or $99 monthly (50 or 200 apps/mo), 23-step onboarding, credit-card-only trial
- Tsenta vs JobHire.AI, Starter/Pro/Pro+ tiers, U.S. only, exact prices behind a wall
- Tsenta vs AIApply, $50/mo for 100 apps + $12 resume + $12 cover letter add-ons; the paywall maze nets out to ~$0.50/app vs our $0.03
- Tsenta vs ApplyPass, tech-only, $99 or $199/mo with weekly caps
- Tsenta vs AutoApplyMax, Chrome extension at $9.99 or $29.99/mo, narrower direct submit
- Tsenta vs FastApply.co, $14 / $29 / $49 monthly for 200 / 500 / 1,000 apps, lots of platforms in BETA
- Tsenta vs Wobo AI, $34.99 or $44.99 monthly with applications that arrive 3-4 days after you swipe; empty Resume/Cover Letter tabs
- Tsenta vs Jobsolv, remote-only, pricing 403-gated
- Tsenta vs Sonara, $23.95/mo unlimited, but the inventory is Monster + CareerBuilder partnerships rather than direct ATS coverage
chrome extensions and trackers we beat:
- Tsenta vs Simplify, $40/mo to save ~5 minutes of typing per application while you do every other step manually (and it can't log in)
- Tsenta vs Jobright, prettier autofill, fewer ATSes, same "can't log in" ceiling
- Tsenta vs Huntr, $40/mo for the tracker (or $26.66/mo if you commit 6 months), doesn't actually apply
- Tsenta vs Teal, pricing 403-gated, resume tools wearing an applier costume
- Tsenta vs Careerflow, $23.99 Premium or $44.99 Premium Plus for coaching plus autofill
- Tsenta vs LoopCV, 4 tiers from free to $89.99 concierge, ~$0.20/app at every paid tier vs our $0.03
honorable mentions:
- Tsenta vs Sorce.jobs, iOS only, 5-ATS coverage, applies take hours; $14.99/wk or $39.99/mo "unlimited" (practically ~1,000/mo with the swipe UI), 40 free apps/day
- Tsenta vs Scale.jobs, humans (not software) at $299 to $1,099 one-time for 500 to 1,100 apps
- Tsenta vs Wonsulting, $19.99/mo Premium bundles 7 AI tools including auto-apply
the part where i'm honest
we don't win every comparison.
if you only apply to LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs, LazyApply's $999/yr ceiling (1,500/day on Easy Apply) is higher than ours; if you just want a tracker, Huntr at $26.66/mo on the six-month plan is better at that one job; if you have $1,099 and want a human to fill out 1,100 forms, Scale.jobs does that; and if your jobs all live on Monster or CareerBuilder, Sonara's $23.95/mo unlimited is real.
Sorce.jobs is the closest call. they're a beautifully built iOS product and they win on free-tier daily generosity (40 apps/day). their "unlimited" sticker is more marketing than feature, the swipe UI plus required post-apply review caps you around 1,000/mo in practice. we win on surfaces (8 vs 1), ATS coverage (15 vs 5), and apply latency (seconds vs hours).
but if you want one tool that applies end-to-end on the ATSes 80% of real jobs actually post on, fires in seconds, and runs from any of 8 surfaces (your text message, your laptop, Claude, anything you have), that's us.
we built this because we got tired of pretending the other tools worked.
(yeah, that's the whole pitch. the free 25 apps don't expire. burn them whenever.)
