Tsenta vs ApplyPass, or why $199/month is wild
ApplyPass is $199/mo for 400 apps/week and tech roles only. Tsenta Pro is $39/mo for 1,500 apps, any role. We're a fifth the price for nearly the same volume.
$199 a month.
that's the top ApplyPass tier. four hundred applications a week for $199/mo. let me do that math out loud so it sinks in.
$199/mo is $2,388/year for ~1,600 apps/mo (400/week, tech roles only).
Tsenta Pro is $39/mo, for 1,500 applications/mo. any role, any industry.
we're roughly a fifth the price for nearly the same volume. on the cheaper plans the gap is even worse.

what ApplyPass actually is
ApplyPass is a tech-focused auto-applier. they match you to SWE and PM roles, then auto-apply on your behalf.
the pitch is tight: get matched to tech jobs, get interviews, here's the funnel. and to their credit, the tech-only focus means their matching can be sharper than a generalist tool. if you're a software engineer in the U.S. job market, the matching probably works fine.
the pricing is where it gets steep.
free tier with 7 apps/week. Momentum at $99/mo for 100 apps/week (about 400/mo). Premium at $199/mo for 400 apps/week (about 1,600/mo).
where ApplyPass falls short
if you're a designer, marketer, ops person, finance person, sales person, or basically anyone outside SWE/PM, ApplyPass is not for you. the entire site is built around the tech funnel.
now stack the math against Tsenta. ApplyPass Momentum is $99/mo for ~400 applications. Tsenta Starter is $19/mo for 600 applications. Starter undercuts their entry plan by 80% on price and beats it on volume.
ApplyPass Premium is $199/mo for ~1,600 applications. Tsenta Pro is $39/mo for 1,500 applications. nearly the same volume, one-fifth the cost. their top tier is twice as expensive as our top tier (Tsenta Power $99 for 4,500 apps).
over a year, ApplyPass Premium is $2,388. Tsenta Pro annual is roughly $300 after the up-to-36% discount. that's an $2,088 gap for the same use case.
100 apps/week cap on the entry plan. if you're doing a serious job hunt you'll hit that in a day or two, then you're capped for the rest of the week unless you upgrade. classic dripping artificial scarcity.
if you want to apply to roles abroad, or in tech-adjacent industries (climate tech ops, fintech compliance, healthcare PM), the matching gets brittle fast.
there's no public tracker or desktop app. it's a web tool that takes your money and applies. if you want to see what happened, you mostly have to trust the dashboard.
resume/ATS optimization and recruiter coaching are listed as add-ons (extra cost on top of the subscription) in their pricing. ours are baked in.
where Tsenta is different
any role, any industry. SWE, PM, designer, marketer, RecOps, finance, healthcare, sales, customer success, even non-traditional roles. our ATS coverage is platform-based (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, etc.) not vertical-based. if the role posts on a major ATS, we apply.
three subscription tiers, all monthly. Starter $19/mo for 600 apps. Pro $39/mo for 1,500 apps. Power $99/mo for 4,500 apps. Quarterly saves up to 32%. Annual saves up to 36%.
every tier includes AI-powered resume optimization, automated OTP filling, and priority support, no add-on charges.
