Tsenta vs FastApply.co, monthly plan vs monthly plan
FastApply switched from credit packs to monthly subscriptions: $14/200, $29/500, $49/1,000 apps per month. Tsenta beats them on volume per dollar at every tier. Here's the math.
FastApply used to sell credit packs. heads up, they don't anymore.
as of this week their pricing page is three monthly subscription tiers: Starter $14/mo for 200 apps, Pro $29/mo for 500 apps, Elite $49/mo for 1,000 apps. yearly knocks 40% off.
so the comparison isn't credit-vs-credit anymore. it's monthly-vs-monthly, and the math gets clearer.
FastApply Starter $14/mo: 200 apps. Tsenta Starter $19/mo: 600 apps.
$5 more, 3x the volume. that's the entire pitch, but let's keep going.

what FastApply.co actually is
a browser-extension auto-applier. you install the Chrome extension, configure preferences, and it submits applications across Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, Dice, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, and a few more.
current tiers: Starter $14/mo (200 apps), Pro $29/mo (500 apps, AI cover letter per job), Elite $49/mo (1,000 apps, AI tailored resume AND cover letter per job).
the pitch is speed. apply faster, apply to more, with less effort. that's fine, same pitch most of us in this space have.
it's a browser-extension model. they say credentials never leave your browser, which is a real safety argument.
where FastApply.co falls short
AI tailoring is gated to the Elite tier. on Starter and Pro you don't get per-application resume rewrites. so the cheap and mid tiers are essentially "auto-fill the form" with whatever resume you uploaded.
200 apps/month at $14 is 7 cents per application, which sounds cheap until you compare to Tsenta Starter at 3.2 cents per application (600 apps for $19).
500 apps/month at $29 (FastApply Pro) is 5.8 cents per application. Tsenta Pro is 2.6 cents per application (1,500 apps for $39). less than half the per-application cost, and you get AI resume optimization included instead of locked behind a higher tier.
1,000 apps at $49 (FastApply Elite) is 4.9 cents per app. Tsenta Pro is still cheaper per app even at this volume, AND you get 50% more apps.
browser extension means your laptop has to be on and your browser has to be open. cloud appliers like ours run in the background, you don't have to babysit.
no MCP, no SMS, no desktop app outside the browser. dashboard only.
a chunk of the platform list is in BETA: Rippling, JazzHR, Workday, iCIMS, Oracle Cloud, Taleo. so "20+ platforms" is real-ish, but the depth varies a lot.
where Tsenta is different
monthly subscription tiers that beat FastApply on volume per dollar at every level. Starter $19/mo for 600 apps. Pro $39/mo for 1,500 apps. Power $99/mo for 4,500 apps. quarterly saves up to 32%. annual saves up to 36%.
or if you want one-time, credit packs that never expire: $19/200, $39/600, $99/2000.
want to try first? free tier gives you 25 applications, full Pro features, no time limit.
every tier includes AI-powered resume optimization (not gated to a top tier), automated OTP filling, and priority support. FastApply locks resume tailoring to Elite. we don't.
8 surfaces to apply from. web dashboard at app.tsenta.com, native desktop on Mac/Win/Linux, Android app, iOS app (pending App Store review), Chrome extension, MCP for Claude and ChatGPT, iMessage bot, WhatsApp bot.
known ATS coverage with no "beta" footnotes: Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Lever, iCIMS, Oracle Cloud, Workable, Paylocity, JazzHR, BambooHR, Jobvite, Rippling, BreezyHR, UltiPro. fifteen major platforms, in production.
cloud-based apply (runs while you sleep), not a browser extension you have to keep open.

the closer
FastApply switched to monthly tiers, so the credit-pack arbitrage we used to talk about is gone. but the volume-per-dollar gap is wider now: $5 more at the entry tier gets you 3x the apps, AI tailoring on every application, OTP filling, cloud-based apply, and 8 ways to apply (vs FastApply's one chrome extension).
