Salary: €60,000–€65,000 DOE + full package
Location: Dublin / surrounding counties
Type: Permanent
Travel: Dublin and surrounding areas
On-Call: Approx. 1 in 10 weeks

Overview

An established electronic security integrator is looking to appoint an experienced Security Systems Service Engineer to support a strong portfolio of commercial, banking and financial-sector clients across Dublin and the surrounding counties.

This is a service-focused role covering planned maintenance, reactive fault-finding, repairs and system upgrades across CCTV, access control and intruder systems.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Planned preventative maintenance across security systems
• Reactive service and fault-finding
• Diagnosing and repairing technical issues
• Equipment upgrades and remedial works
• Supporting customers on-site with technical issues
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Managing van stock, tools and assigned equipment
• Working closely with the Service Manager and Service Desk
• Participating in the on-call rota
• Maintaining high customer service and H&S standards

Systems Experience

Experience across some of the following would be ideal:

Intruder

• Pacom
• HKC
• Galaxy

Access Control

• Lenel
• C-Cure
• Pacom
• ACT

CCTV / VMS

• Milestone
• Genetec
• Avigilon
• Dahua

Strong IP/networking knowledge would also be beneficial.

Candidate Requirements

• Ideally 3+ years’ experience within the electronic security industry
• Strong service, maintenance and fault-finding background
• Experience across CCTV, access control and intruder systems
• Comfortable working independently across customer sites
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Good reporting and administration skills
• Full clean driving licence
• Comfortable participating in an on-call rota

• Banking
• Financial services
• Commercial environments
• Other secure customer sites across Dublin and surrounding counties
