Position Overview

Support the Group’s business growth and operations in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Develop partnerships, manage business initiatives and improve efficiency, using strong knowledge of Mainland business culture and an established professional network.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Business Development

Identify new opportunities and expand client, partner and distribution networks in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

• Partnership Management

Build long-term relationships with clients, partners and suppliers, and negotiate commercial terms within approved authority.

• Business Planning and Implementation

Prepare proposals, business plans and budgets. Coordinate projects and partnerships from planning through completion.

• Operations and Team Management

Oversee daily operations, lead assigned teams and improve processes. Coordinate activities between Hong Kong and Mainland China.

• Performance and Reporting

Monitor business results, costs and project progress. Prepare management reports and recommend improvements.

• Controls and Risk Management

Ensure activities follow company policies, approved budgets and contractual requirements. Identify and address operational risks.

Requirements

• Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field. MBA preferred. At least eight years of relevant experience, including three years in management or leadership.

• Mainland Business Knowledge and Network

Strong understanding of Mainland business culture, commercial practices and negotiation styles. An established network of Mainland clients, business partners or industry contacts.

• Business and Management Skills

Experience in business development, operations, team management, budgeting and project delivery. Strong planning, commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.

• Communication and Languages

Strong communication and negotiation skills. Good written and spoken Chinese, including Mandarin, and working proficiency in English. Cantonese is an advantage.

• Travel

Willingness to travel between Hong Kong and Mainland China as required.
