Scada Engineer at XDI Solutions in Vermont State

Summary: XD Innovation is growing its US team and supporting a major transformation in Vermont. The SCADA / Ignition Engineer will develop, configure, troubleshoot, test, and commission Ignition SCADA applications while collaborating with engineering and operations teams on industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure and support Ignition SCADA applications
- Build and maintain HMI screens, alarms, tags and historian functionality
- Connect Ignition with PLCs, OPC UA and industrial systems
- Troubleshoot SCADA and controls issues
- Support system upgrades, testing and commissioning
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams

Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with SCADA, controls or industrial automation
- Some hands-on experience with Inductive Automation Ignition
- Understanding of PLCs and industrial communication protocols
- Comfortable travelling to the Vermont site when required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in utilities, energy, manufacturing or another industrial environment is beneficial
