Summary: X-energy LLC is seeking a Steam Generator Intern to support professional employees in their area of study. The intern will assist with various projects and tasks under guided supervision, contributing to the organization's goals while learning from experienced professionals in the field. Responsibilities: - Assist with tasks or projects related to the area of study - Provide support for day-to-day departmental or team operations - Participate in brainstorming sessions, meetings, and project discussions offering input and feedback when appropriate - Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational efficiency or project outcomes - Help organize and maintain project files, documents, and records - Conduct research and gather information for ongoing initiatives and projects - Help prepare reports, presentations, or other materials as needed Required Qualifications: - Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree relevant to the discipline or functional area of the internship (Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or similar) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Proficiency in CAD software (Nx, Solidworks, Creo, or similar) - Proficiency in basic hand calculations (free body diagrams, statics/dynamics, thermofluids, etc) - Candidates must submit at least one letter of recommendation as part of the application process Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software Important Skills: Basic hand calculations
