Job Description
WorkSteer is seeking dependable and motivated HVAC Installers for full-time employment. This position involves installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, assisting with ductwork and equipment setup, and supporting HVAC service and maintenance tasks.
Candidates with previous HVAC installation experience are preferred. Individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to quality workmanship are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Assist with HVAC equipment installation, including furnaces, air conditioning units, and related components.
- Install and connect ductwork according to project specifications.
- Assist with equipment setup, system replacement, and installation preparation.
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting as assigned.
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
- Follow installation instructions, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work with HVAC technicians and other crew members to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous HVAC installation experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation methods is an advantage.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- EPA Section 608 certification preferred but not required for this position.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team.
