Wingate is looking for an organized and experienced Assistant Property Manager to support a multi-site affordable housing portfolio in Cambridge, MA. You’ll be based out of one primary property while providing support to additional nearby communities.

Our portfolio includes a mix of HUD, Section 8, LIHTC/Tax Credit, and Department of Mental Health (DMH) units. We’re looking for someone who understands affordable housing compliance, can manage deadlines and detailed paperwork, and knows how to communicate professionally with residents and the property management team.

For nearly 60 years, Wingate has been committed to creating quality communities and providing exceptional service to our residents. Today, we manage more than 21,000 homes across 18 states with approximately 800 associates. We believe our people are our greatest strength and provide opportunities to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in property management.

Previous affordable housing experience is required, with knowledge of Tax Credit/LIHTC and Section 8 strongly preferred. You should have hands-on experience with recertifications and understand the importance of accurate documentation and compliance.

RealPage/OneSite experience is strongly preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.

You’ll also need to be organized, detail-oriented, professional, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a busy multi-site environment. Because this role supports multiple properties, you must be able to drive between locations as needed.
