About WerQ AI & This Opportunity:
At WerQ AI, we’re pioneering the world’s first Career Intelligence & Relationship Management (CIRM™) platform, designed to empower professionals by putting them in control of their careers. Our agentic AI works for you, not against you, automating tedious job search workflows so you can focus on what truly matters: skill growth, meaningful connections, and future-proofing your career.
We are on the verge of a major milestone, our public launch in April 2025, with 11,000+ users on our waitlist and an engaged beta user customer community already shaping our product. Over the next six weeks, we are finalizing key features, testing with our users, and deep into fundraising efforts to fuel our next stage of growth.
This is an opportunity to join early, make a direct impact, and shape the future of AI-driven career management.
About the Role:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at WerQ AI, you will play a pivotal role in refining and expanding our platform. We're nearing the final phase of beta testing, and your expertise will be crucial finalizing remaining features, ensuring a seamless user experience as we launch publicly, and laying the foundation for our future development goals.
You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing core features, integrating AI-driven insights, and optimizing performance across the stack. If you're excited about building innovative, user-centric solutions in a fast-paced, high-growth startup, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Architect and implement robust, scalable web applications using NestJS and Next.js, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and efficient query handling.
UI/UX Implementation: Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS, translating design mockups into high-quality code.
AI Integration: Collaborate on integrating LangChain to enhance AI-driven features, ensuring the platform leverages cutting-edge AI technologies.
Authentication and User Management: Implement and manage user authentication and authorization processes using Clerk, ensuring secure and seamless user experiences.
Automated Testing and Scripting: Utilize Puppeteer for end-to-end testing and automation tasks, ensuring the reliability and performance of web applications.
Salary: $140,000-$200,000 + Equity
During the final six weeks of our beta, we are actively securing growth funding while preparing for our public launch in April 2025, when user-driven revenue begins. At that time, this role will transition into a full-time salaried position within the stated annual range. Until then, compensation will be deferred.
Benefits:
Fully Remote & Flexible Work Schedule (Work from anywhere in the world with flexible hours tailored to your productivity style and time zone.)
Unlimited PTO
Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance premiums fully paid by Company
Growth Opportunities (Join at a critical growth stage, with opportunities for rapid career progression and cross-functional exposure.)
