Job Description
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Manager with the Legal Strategy, Innovation, and Administration Division in the Legal Department. The Business Execution Manager is responsible for managing a team of legal support professionals aligned to multiple Divisions across the department and working with key stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective support of legal operational processes. The Business Execution Manager will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve processes and our operational support model.
In this role, you will:
Manage and develop a team handling multifaceted tasks and legal operational processes within the Legal Department
Engage business stakeholders in integrating or implementing business execution initiatives
Identify and recommend opportunities for process automation, improvement, redesign, change management initiatives, and risk control development
Upskill team on AI skills and identify opportunities where AI and Automation can increase efficiencies and speed
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operations of the team to meet objectives
Interpret and develop policies and procedures
Collaborate and consult with immediate colleagues and cross functional partners within the Legal Department
Interact directly with executive management to influence, optimize, and negotiate on business operations related to Strategy and Execution
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Strong business acumen and experience building strong business partner relationships and consulting effectively with peers and cross functional partners
Experience supervising a team of individual direct reports in a legal support role and model
Leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships in a geographically dispersed team environment
Experience in improving processes with AI and/or automation
Leadership experience supervising 7 or more direct reports in a professional or corporate environment
Previous experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
Job Expectations:
Position will require onsite presence from any of the required locations listed
Ability to work a hybrid schedule, in office at least 3 days a week

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
