Job Description
About Welbeck Cambridge
Welbeck Cambridge is a state-of-the-art private day-case centre created to deliver exceptional healthcare in an environment designed around the needs of patients and clinicians alike. As part of the wider Welbeck Health Partners network, the centre provides diagnostics, outpatient services and day-case procedures across a range of specialties, combining clinical excellence with outstanding service.
At Welbeck, we believe healthcare should be seamless, reassuring and genuinely patient-centred. Every interaction matters, and we're committed to creating an experience that is efficient, professional and welcoming from the very first enquiry through to treatment and beyond.
As our services continue to grow, we're looking for passionate and talented people who share our ambition to raise standards and help redefine the private healthcare experience.
About the role
We are seeking three health care experienced, proactive and highly organised Senior Administrators to join Welbeck Cambridge, a state-of-the-art multi-specialty day-case centre.
This is a pivotal role within the Administration Team, combining hands-on administrative duties with operational oversight and team support. Senior Administrators will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the centre, supporting service delivery, maintaining high administrative standards, and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Each Senior Administrator will take ownership of a designated operational area, such as Imaging & Diagnostics, Front of House & Guest Experience, or Back Office Administration & Business Support. Whilst leading within their allocated area, all Senior Administrators will work collaboratively to provide cross-cover, share knowledge and support the wider operational needs of the business.
The post holder will be responsible for managing a broad range of administrative and business support functions, including bookings, referrals, invoicing, payment collection, reporting and service coordination. They will also provide day-to-day guidance and support to Administrators and Receptionists, assisting with workload prioritisation, operational challenges, staff development and continuous service improvement.
We are looking for individuals with previous healthcare administration experience who are confident decision-makers, able to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing demands and take ownership of delivering high-quality administrative services within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of supporting operational performance, working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Welbeck Cambridge operates Monday to Saturday, and Senior Administrators will work a rotational shift pattern comprising early, mid and late shifts covering the centre's operating hours of 07:00 to 20:30.
Please note: We are seeking to appoint three Senior Administrators in preparation for the opening and mobilisation of Welbeck Cambridge. Successful candidates will be expected to commence employment in late March 2027 and will play an important role in supporting the centre's operational readiness and launch.
