About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and results-oriented Sales Team Leader to lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished sales professional who can consistently deliver individual results while developing team members to achieve ambitious sales targets.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will initially be expected to demonstrate strong sales performance and a deep understanding of the sales process before taking on broader team leadership responsibilities. You will be responsible for setting goals, improving sales processes, analyzing performance data, coaching team members, and developing strategies that consistently improve conversion and revenue.

The ideal candidate is highly competitive, commercially driven, comfortable working with international customers, and passionate about helping others become better sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Performance

• Lead, motivate, and coach sales representatives to consistently achieve and exceed individual and team targets.
• Set clear performance goals and establish actionable plans to achieve them.
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, conversion rates, revenue, and customer engagement.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, team reviews, and performance discussions.
• Develop high-performing sales professionals through structured coaching, feedback, and continuous training.
• Lead by example by maintaining strong personal sales performance and demonstrating effective sales techniques.

Sales Strategy & Process Improvement

• Develop and refine sales strategies, scripts, messaging, objection-handling techniques, and follow-up processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve lead engagement, prospecting, conversion, and customer retention.
• Analyze sales data to identify performance gaps and determine root causes.
• Test new sales approaches and continuously optimize processes based on measurable results.
• Translate successful individual sales techniques into repeatable team processes and best practices.

Performance Analytics & Reporting

• Track key sales metrics, including calls, contacts, follow-ups, conversion rates, revenue, and individual/team performance.
• Use spreadsheets, dashboards, and visual reports to identify trends and performance opportunities.
• Prepare regular performance updates and recommendations for management.
• Investigate underperformance and develop practical action plans to address identified issues.
• Use data-driven insights to improve forecasting, resource allocation, and sales execution.

Customer & Prospect Engagement

• Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, buying motivations, objections, and decision-making processes.
• Support the team in handling complex prospects and challenging sales situations.
• Develop strategies to increase prospect response rates and encourage meaningful follow-ups.
• Help team members improve their ability to communicate value, overcome objections, and close sales.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer experience across all sales interactions.

Team Collaboration & Operations

• Work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from different countries and cultural backgrounds.
• Follow established company policies and contribute constructive suggestions for improving processes.
• Ensure team meetings are organized, punctual, focused, and supported by clear agendas.
• Maintain strong communication across a fully remote working environment.
• Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and ownership of team outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record of success in B2C, inside sales, or international sales.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading sales professionals.
• Strong understanding of prospecting, lead qualification, follow-ups, objection handling, and closing.
• Ability to analyze sales data and identify the underlying causes of performance gaps.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong typing and computer proficiency, including Windows-based applications and Google Workspace.
• Comfortable creating and interpreting spreadsheets, charts, and performance reports.
• Highly organized with strong time-management and meeting-management skills.
• Comfortable receiving feedback, following direction, and continuously improving performance.
• Ability to work independently in a quiet, professional home-office environment.
• Experience working with international customers or multicultural teams is highly desirable.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Is highly motivated by sales performance and measurable results.
• Can personally sell at a high level while teaching others to do the same.
• Can set ambitious goals and inspire a team to achieve them.
• Thinks creatively about sales scripts, messaging, and customer engagement.
• Uses data to identify problems and develop solutions rather than relying on assumptions.
• Takes ownership and proactively brings ideas to improve team performance.
• Is comfortable working with people from different countries and backgrounds.
• Demonstrates professionalism, punctuality, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
• Is open to coaching and actively seeks opportunities to improve.
