Job Description
PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are seeking a strong administrator to join our team in Togher, Cork.
This is an interactive role, and the successful candidate will be working on a large-scale sampling program that incorporates scheduling, schedule adherence, dealing with several different companies as well as liaising with sampling engineers.
This role is very client-driven and has plenty of variety from communicating with employees and managers to external suppliers. So, if you have excellent attention to detail and enjoy multi-tasking this is the role for you!
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and consult with sampling partners, laboratories, and internal teams to ensure samples are collected correctly and on schedule.
- Monitor sampling progress and follow up on missed or incomplete collections.
- Act as a central point of contact for operational and administrative support.
- Obtain, chase, and validate 24-hour flow data for every trade effluent sample.
- Ensure all flow information and sampling data is accurately entered into the system.
- Maintain clear records and provide regular status updates to the project team.
- Support compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.

- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good problem solver and ability to react promptly to change.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy – essential.
- Able to work on own initiative and follow tasks through to completion.
- Comfortable dealing with employees, managers and external providers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Min of 4 years’ experience in an administrative role, essential.
- Previous experience dealing and negotiating with external providers/vendors, desirable.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and software, an advantage.
- Experience working in a busy, fast paced environment, essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ISO standards (9001/17025) or previous experience in a regulated environment, desirable.
- Experience using a Document Management System, desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Work Permit / Visa, essential.
