We are hiring an AI Analyst | Photographer – Japanese for a remote contractor assignment creating image-based evaluation materials for multimodal AI.

What you will do

• Source authentic, high-quality photographs of real-world places, products, and media relevant to the locale.
• Verify image licensing and document provenance.
• Use Google Search, Google Lens, and reverse-image search to identify and verify subjects.
• Create cropped, masked, occluded, or degraded image variants while preserving realistic clues.
• Write English prompts, objective grading criteria, and solution notes.

Requirements

• Native or highly fluent Japanese and strong working English.
• 1+ year of directly relevant experience.
• Strong local cultural knowledge and multi-step web-research skills.
• Basic image-editing skills and copyright/licensing awareness.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Engagement and compensation

• Remote contractor assignment; approximately 16 weeks for Japan and 8 weeks for other eligible locations.
• Full-time 40 hours per week or part-time 20 hours per week, with at least 4 hours overlap during PST business hours.
• Compensation: $26 per hour.
• Selection includes an interest check and profile review.
