2026 Voyager Summer Internship - Industrial Engineering

Summary: Voyager Technologies is an innovative defense, national security and space technology company committed to advancing transformative solutions. They are seeking highly motivated emerging talent for a 10-week immersive internship program, where interns will gain hands-on experience in developing a material packaging plan for a chemical production facility. Responsibilities: - Focus on packaging moisture- and UV-sensitive material in a less-than-ideal environment - Develop metrics to balance schedule and line loading in a complex production environment - Manage a budget, communicate with vendors, and define a purchasing plan - Present and explain their plan to a team of engineers and technicians, and incorporate their feedback to fulfill their vision Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics; junior or senior standing by fall 2026 - Strong interest in logistics and supply chain - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team - Strong communication and organizational skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship, coursework, or project experience Required Skills: Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management Important Skills: Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills, Organizational skills, Team collaboration Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
