Early Careers Internship Program Private Clients / Client & Offering Management

Location: Zürich / Gotthardstrasse 43

Ready to take the next step in your career and make your mark in the financial world?
At Vontobel, we believe diverse perspectives drive innovation and success. That’s why we’re excited to welcome passionate, ambitious, and curious students into our Early Careers Internship Program. Whether you’re fascinated by investments, sales and technology, this program offers you the chance to collaborate with a dynamic team, receive personalized support, and contribute to projects that truly matter.
Over 6 months, starting on 1 March 2027, you’ll gain hands-on experience and insights into the financial industry while building lasting connections in a globally recognized investment firm.

What would your role be?
As part of the internship in Sales & Client Management, you will:

• Be part of an active and collaborative team driving strategic sales and investment initiatives
• Gain hands-on experience by contributing to product launch initiatives and webinars
• Assist with daily business operations, ongoing initiatives and client-focused activities
• Gain exposure to sales activities and market trends while contributing to market research
• Contribute to data-driven analyses for management reporting, helping transform data into actionable insights
• Prepare sales reports, presentations and management updates
• Collaborate with several stakeholders from Product Management, Marketing, Technology & Services as well as Investment Specialists

What are we looking for?
We are seeking highly motivated students that share our values:

• Ownership: You are curious and get involved. You ask why a process works the way it does, offer to help where your team needs it, and see your own projects through from start to finish.
• Tenacity: You are driven and self-dependent. When the data doesn’t add up or the first approach fails, you look for another way and you come back with an answer.
• Foresight: You are a pro-active self-starter with a can-do mentality. You spot what’s coming and you take the initiative to solve it before it becomes a problem.

What sets you apart

• AI literacy: You use AI tools to research, analyze and draft faster, and you double-check their output before you rely on it.
• Collaboration: You work well with others and build your network. You reach out to colleagues beyond your own team, learn how other parts of the bank work, and share what you find.

What you need to apply

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, or graduated within the last two years, in finance, technology or a related field.
• You have a genuine interest in the financial sector.
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken. German, French or Italian is a plus.
• You hold a valid work permit for the location you are applying to.

What do we offer?
At Vontobel, we strive to create an inspiring environment where you can thrive. Here’s what you can expect:

• Prime Zurich location: Modern collaboration spaces, and free on-site canteen offering freshly prepared lunches to keep you
• Supportive and inclusive culture: Be part of a friendly, diverse team that values individuality and collaboration in an open-office setting.
• Tools for success: Access the latest technology and resources to excel in your role.
• Networking opportunities: join our NextGen community and meet other interns for lunch.
• Flat hierarchy and innovation: Collaborate at all levels and contribute to exciting projects in an agile, future-focused work environment.
• Paid internship: we offer standardized salary for all early career interns including free lunch.

The application period for the 2027 Early Careers Internship Program runs from 5 to 15 November. As applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and positions may close early, we encourage you to apply early. You may submit a maximum of two applications across all internship positions.
