Construction Manager – High-Rise Building

Job Summary
Responsible for the overall construction execution of high-rise building projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. The candidate must have proven experience managing G+30 or higher high-rise buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall construction execution of high-rise building projects from structural works through completion and handover.
• Plan and monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure progress is aligned with the approved project programme and milestones.
• Manage civil, structural and architectural works, ensuring proper coordination between all site disciplines.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate closely with Project Manager, Planning, QS, QA/QC, HSE, MEP, Design and Procurement teams to resolve site issues and maintain progress.
• Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors and ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Drive timely completion of structural cycles, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishes and external works.
• Review construction methodologies and implement measures to improve productivity, quality and programme performance.
• Identify construction risks, delays and technical issues and take corrective action in coordination with the project team.
• Monitor and control the use of manpower, materials, plant and equipment to optimise project resources.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved quality, HSE and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site coordination and progress meetings with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, approvals and closure of snags and NCRs.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely mobilisation and completion of works.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project targets, cost control and timely project handover.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of construction progress, constraints and recovery actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 12–15 years of total construction experience, with significant experience in high-rise building projects.
• Mandatory: Proven experience managing G+30 or higher high-rise buildings.
• Strong experience with high-rise structural, architectural and finishing works.
• Experience working with major subcontractors and managing multiple construction teams.

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
