Schafer Laboratory | Department of Neurobiology | UMass Chan Medical School
We're looking for a motivated, creative postdoctoral fellow to join the Schafer laboratory in the Department of Neurobiology at UMass Chan Medical School.
Our research uses a combination of mouse models and human samples to address how neural-immune signaling regulates neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration. Central to our studies are microglia, a brain resident macrophage.

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in neurobiology, cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, or related field- Previous peer-reviewed publications
- Strong experimental, analytical, and scientific-writing skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience in neural-immune signaling and microglia biology
- Experience working with mouse models
