As an Associate, Enrollment, you’ll build relationships with families and community partners, support outreach efforts across Boston, and use data to strengthen enrollment strategies. You will help connect families to educational opportunities that can shape students’ futures. This role blends community engagement, project coordination, event planning, and operational work, giving you the opportunity to directly influence how students and families experience Uncommon Schools. Responsibilities
Family & Community Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, local partners, and stakeholders to expand awareness of Uncommon Schools
Lead outreach efforts including community events, canvassing, tabling, and information sessions
Support families throughout the enrollment process and create welcoming experiences for prospective students and caregivers
Track outreach effectiveness and recommend adjustments to improve recruitment efforts and family engagement
Enrollment Strategy & Recruitment
Collaborate with the Enrollment team to strengthen lead generation strategies and increase enrollment conversion rates
Support recruitment plans and enrollment targets using data and community insights
Help identify opportunities to improve outreach approaches throughout the school year
Partner with managers to execute enrollment initiatives aligned to regional goals
Project Management & Event Coordination
Plan and support large recruitment and conversion events for prospective families
Manage projects related to outreach systems, communication practices, and family engagement efforts
Coordinate timelines, materials, and follow-up activities to keep projects moving forward
Build systems and documentation that improve consistency and effectiveness across enrollment work
Operations, Data & Systems
Develop expertise in enrollment systems and CRM platforms, including Salesforce and SchoolMint
Maintain enrollment-related records, invoices, and financial documentation
Analyze outreach and enrollment data to support decision making
Use technology and reporting tools to organize work and improve processes
qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
1 to 2 years of experience in enrollment, admissions, community outreach, customer service, education, operations, project coordination, or similar work
Experience using Google Workspace and Canva required
Comfort learning and using systems or databases; experience with CRM platforms or SchoolMint preferred
Ability to organize projects, manage outreach efforts, and maintain accurate records
Experience building relationships with families, community organizations, or external partners preferred
Additional Preferences
Experience in K–12 education, nonprofits, community engagement, recruitment, or family-facing work
Experience supporting events, outreach campaigns, or projects from planning through execution
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar systems preferred
Physical & Travel Requirements
Regular travel within the Boston area for schools, community events, and outreach activities; access to a car is recommended
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move materials up to 20–40 pounds during events and outreach activities

Compensation:
The full compensation range for this role is $65,300–$76,800. Typically, new hires who fully meet all qualifications listed in the job description will start at $69,100. Starting compensation below this reflects candidates with less experience or qualifications. Offers near the top end of the range are reserved for candidates who significantly exceed the qualifications, bringing extensive experience and specialized expertise beyond what is listed.
Compensation determinations consider relevant professional experience and tenure with Uncommon Schools. Additionally, because we value internal growth and tenure, current staff members are not subject to salary caps within this range.
Work Environment:
Uncommon is an in-person organization, with a commitment of at least three days each week in our Boston office. This role also includes travel to schools, community events, and outreach activities across the region.
