The anticipated hourly rate for this position ranges from $21/hour to $26/hour, with final compensation based on the candidate’s completed co-op work terms.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student with a passion for automobiles to support our Vehicle Safety & Compliance and Warranty team. This is a contract opportunity, and the individual will report to the Manager, Vehicle Safety and Compliance Liaison Office of Canada. This role will have a broad range of responsibilities, from operations to analytics, and from online to hands-on vehicle work.
The successful candidate will contribute to Toyota in a meaningful way, applying their knowledge and skills across a variety of tasks while continuing to learn and build experience in a well-supported corporate environment.

What You’ll be Doing:
- Prepare safety recall and service campaigns for launch to Dealers and Customers
- Respond to Dealer inquiries related to safety recalls and service campaigns
- Conduct factory quality verifications during vehicle logistics across Canada, including hands-on inspections in Toronto and associated reporting
- Triage and respond to law enforcement requests
- Validate compliance label requests and produce replacements
- Assist engineers with vehicle quality investigations
- Analyze warranty data and recovered warranty parts
What You’ll Bring:
- Undergraduate student in a Business, Engineering or technical discipline preferred
- Knowledge of automotive technology
- A valid G-class driver’s license is preferred
- Fluency in both English and French is preferred
