About Top Funnel Talent

Top Funnel Talent is a people advisory firm specializing in fractional HR and recruitment services for fast-growing companies. When clients need to build candidate pipelines FAST, they turn to us. We're a global team spanning LATAM, US & UK that excels at launching high-volume, quality outreach campaigns within days of engagement. Our multi-channel sourcing engines find and keep prospects warm throughout the entire hiring process, driving meaningful conversations that convert to hires. We're a curious, problem-solving team that becomes a true extension of every client we serve.

About This Role

We're seeking a high-energy contract Recruiter who thrives in the fast-paced world of startup life. This is not your typical corporate recruiting role - we need a hunter who lives and breathes candidate sourcing, storytelling, and relationship building. You'll need to be comfortable pitching multiple clients simultaneously to strong candidates when they're a fit for several opportunities - maximizing value for both candidates and our diverse client portfolio.

If you're energized by the challenge of finding exceptional talent in a competitive market and can handle high-volume outreach while maintaining quality, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

High-Volume Sourcing & Outreach

• Each recruiter averages 300-400 new targeted email outreach campaigns per week to top talent
• Conduct 15-20 recruiter screens weekly, maintaining quality while managing volume
• Proactively source candidates across multiple channels including LinkedIn, PeopleGPT, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche technical communities
• Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for ongoing and future hiring needs

Candidate Engagement & Storytelling

• Craft compelling, personalized outreach messages that cut through inbox noise
• Effectively communicating multiple clients' value propositions and company cultures
• Guide candidates through the entire recruitment process with exceptional candidate experience
• Build long-term relationships with passive candidates for future opportunities

Required Qualifications

Experience & Technical Skills

• 2+ years of recruiting experience with US, UK or Canada based tech companies
• Proven track record of high-volume sourcing and multi channel candidate engagement
• Deep understanding of technical roles including software engineering, DevOps, data science, product management, and emerging tech positions
• Proficiency with recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS systems, etc.)

Personality & Mindset

• Hunter mentality - proactive, persistent, and driven by the thrill of the chase
• High urgency operator who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Resilient in the face of rejection and low response rates (we know this comes with the territory)
• Strong inner belief in your abilities and confidence in your value proposition
• Scrappy and resourceful - able to find creative solutions when traditional methods don't work
• Genuine excitement about sourcing and connecting great people with multiple opportunities

Communication & Work Style

• Advanced written and verbal English skills - must be able to communicate professionally and persuasively
• Comfortable working in asynchronous, remote-first environments
• Strong storytelling abilities with the capacity to sell both opportunities and candidates
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle high-volume activities

What Makes You Successful Here

You understand that recruiting is both an art and a numbers game. You're comfortable with the fact that most of your outreach won't get responses, but you're energized rather than discouraged by this reality. You can quickly understand a startup's unique culture and technical needs, then translate that into compelling candidate conversations.

Our Environment

This is a high-performance, results-driven environment where your success is measured by your ability to consistently deliver exceptional candidates to our startup clients. You'll work with companies ranging from seed stage to Series D, across various technical domains including AI/ML, fintech, healthcare tech, and developer tools.
