Tin Roost in North Liberty is hiring part-time Line Cooks to join our Back of House team! We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and being part of a team. As a Line Cook, you'll play an important role in preparing quality food, keeping your station running efficiently, and helping deliver a great dining experience for our guests. Tin Roost is a locally owned restaurant known for American comfort food made with fresh ingredients and a scratch-kitchen approach. Our menu features smoked meats, burgers, breaded tenderloins, cheese curds, fresh salads, and more. Between our spacious dining room, private events, and large outdoor patio, our kitchen offers a busy environment where you can build your skills and gain valuable experience. Compensation $15 - $22 per hour, depending on experience. Hours & Availability Full-time position Weekday availability required What You'll Be Doing Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards Set up and maintain a clean, stocked, and organized cooking station Manage orders during service while maintaining consistency and food quality Complete daily food prep and restock ingredients as needed Follow proper food storage, labeling, and rotation procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen Follow established food safety and handling guidelines Work closely with kitchen teammates and managers to keep service running efficiently Assist with prep work, inventory, and other kitchen responsibilities Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For Must be 18 years of age or older Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred, but not required Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment Dependable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance Positive attitude and ability to work well with others Willingness to learn, follow directions, and improve cooking skills Ability to stand and remain active throughout scheduled shifts Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds Part-Time Perks & Benefits 25% off food for you and up to one guest 25% off employee beverages 25% off food for you and one guest Sunday through Thursday at 25+ Craft Concepts restaurant locations throughout Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company Team appreciation events and celebrations *Tin Roost is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
