AI Developer at Tidal Vape Ltd in Remote

About the role

We are hiring an AI Developer to lead how AI is adopted across the company. Your first job is to study how we work today: map our current processes, find where AI can save time, cut cost or improve quality, and recommend the AI programme we should invest in. You will then build and ship the solutions you propose, working with large language models, data pipelines and APIs.

Key responsibilitiesAssess and recommend (first 30–60 days)

• Review the company's current processes across teams by interviewing stakeholders, observing workflows and analysing data and tools in use
• Identify and document pain points, manual work and bottlenecks where AI or automation can help
• Assess each opportunity on business impact, effort, cost, data readiness and risk
• Recommend a prioritised AI programme: use cases, roadmap, tools and platforms, build vs buy, budget and success metrics
• Present findings and the proposed programme to the directors for approval
• Build and deliver
• Build and deploy the approved solutions using LLMs (e.g. Claude, GPT, Gemini, open-source models) via APIs and SDKs
• Design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, agents and workflow automations
• Write and refine prompts, evaluation sets and guardrails to improve accuracy and safety
• Integrate AI into existing tools and business processes through backend services and APIs
• Track adoption, time saved and other outcomes against the agreed metrics, and report to leadership
• Monitor model performance, latency and cost in production, and optimise as needed
• Train and support teams in using the new AI tools, and keep the AI roadmap current

Requirements

• 3–6 years of software development, with at least 1–2 years building AI / ML or LLM-based applications
• Proven ability to analyse business processes and turn them into practical AI or automation use cases
• Strong communication skills; able to explain technical options and trade-offs to non-technical leaders
• Strong Python; experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar
• Hands-on experience with vector databases (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, FAISS)
• Experience building REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask or Node.js) and working with SQL / NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), Docker and Git-based workflows
• Good understanding of ML fundamentals, model evaluation and data privacy considerations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
