Offensive Security Tester

Summary: ThreatSpike Labs is focused on making security accessible to all companies, regardless of budget or expertise. They are seeking a Junior Offensive Security Tester to cover a wide range of red team engagements, including web app testing, phishing campaigns, and vulnerability scanning, with opportunities for SOC shadowing and incident response. Responsibilities: - Coverage of a wide spectrum of red team engagements including but not limited to web app testing, phishing campaigns, physical penetration testing and automated vulnerability scanning - Training on the use of various industry standard and in-house tools Required Qualifications: - Motivation, passion and determination, with a willingness to learn and independently take on new challenges - Excellent problem-solving skills, taking on new challenges, researching, and effectively solving problems with some guidance from senior members of the team - Understanding and interest in low level concepts including operating systems, networking, networking protocols, and the OSI model - A desire and ability to learn new topics and new technologies - Experience with programming - Hands on experience using different operating systems and networking technologies - Excellent communication skills - Strong computing fundamentals Preferred Qualifications: - Interest in CTFs, HackTheBox, etc., or work towards relevant certifications are a plus Required Skills: Burpsuite Pro, Nessus, Wireshark Important Skills: Programming, Networking technologies Nice-to-Have Skills: Desire to learn, Problem-solving, Communication skills, Motivation Benefits: Learning and Development, We are committed to helping the selected candidate obtain professional certifications.
