Job Description
Summary: The Pivot Group is dedicated to building meaningful connections and supporting community growth. They are collaborating with multiple companies in Norton Shores seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to drive results by responding to inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining customer records.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, orders, and delivery status
- Process new orders, quotes, and reorders accurately within the manufacturing system
- Liaise with production, logistics, and quality control teams to provide timely customer updates
- Track manufacturing progress and shipping schedules to communicate expected delivery dates
- Provide technical product information and basic troubleshooting support to customers
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, defects, or incorrect shipments
- Maintain accurate customer records and communication logs within the CRM system
Required Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information clearly
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address complex customer inquiries
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, products, or industry-specific terminology
- Proficiency with CRM software and order management systems
- Prior experience in a customer service role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Exceptional attention to detail for accurate order processing and documentation
