Summary: The Leading Hotels of the World is seeking an Accounting Intern to join their Finance & Accounting team for the summer. This role offers hands-on exposure to core accounting functions, supporting revenue operations and building skills in accounting and data analysis. Responsibilities: - Support the Revenue Management team in processing, tracking, and managing revenue generated from our member hotels - Assist with daily transaction reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness - Support the month-end close process - Updating customer payment plans and reviewing account statements - Preparing journal entries and applying cash receipts - Assisting with bank reconciliations - Responding to customer inquiries related to billing and payments - Assist with processing event participation fees in our global ERP system - Support the development of analytics across 200+ global events Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively - Eagerness to learn and take initiative - Strong communication skills and fluency in English Preferred Qualifications: - Strong Excel skills preferred Required Skills: Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis Important Skills: Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Fluency in English
