Position Overview

The Green Technology Group, LLC (TGTG) is seeking qualified Security Escorts to support operations at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth Site in Piketon, Ohio.

The Security Escort will be responsible for accompanying uncleared personnel requiring access to Protected Areas (PA), Limited Areas (LA), and other designated security-sensitive locations.

Candidates must possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance. Candidates holding an active TS clearance may be considered for DOE Q clearance reciprocity, coordinated through TGTG's Facility Security Officer (FSO), subject to DOE authorization and site-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Escort uncleared personnel throughout designated secure and restricted areas of the DOE Portsmouth Site.
• Accompany personnel requiring access to Protected Areas (PA), Limited Areas (LA), and other designated security-sensitive areas.
• Follow established physical security procedures, facility access requirements, and escorting protocols.
• Ensure escorted personnel comply with applicable security instructions and facility regulations.
• Communicate security instructions clearly and effectively to personnel.
• Support construction-related operations requiring authorized security escorts.
• Follow detailed written instructions and maintain awareness of security requirements throughout assigned duties.
• Perform escorting responsibilities in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Work regular hours and overtime as required by operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance required.
• Must be eligible for DOE Q clearance reciprocity and receive all required DOE and site security approvals before performing duties requiring Q authorization.
• Must receive approval from the appropriate Physical Security department to perform escorting duties.
• Must successfully complete required Construction Escorting Program training.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Ability to perform physically demanding duties for extended periods.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to walk between job sites and climb stairs.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate equipment or controls.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with arms and hands.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform duties in hot, cold, wet, or noisy environments.

Work Environment

This position is performed on-site at the DOE Portsmouth Site in Piketon, Ohio. Security Escorts may be assigned to controlled-access facilities, construction areas, and other designated locations requiring personnel escort services.

Candidates must adhere to all applicable security procedures and maintain professional conduct while performing assigned responsibilities.
