Market SNDBA
Location: Tucson, AZ, United States
Responsible for managing and auditing of IMMS/Surginet/Cerner interface of Perioperative programs. Meets personal accountabilities as defined in the Tenet Standards of Conduct, as well as Service, People, Quality, Growth, and Cost. Assists in training Perioperative staff in electronic processes, including intraoperative documentation, ordering Labs, etc., charging, preference card editing and updates. Ensures clinical documentation is finalized, charges verified, change requests submitted and communicated to appropriate Cerner personnel for follow through.
- Manages and audits IMMS/Surginet/Cerner interface of Perioperative programs
- Monitors maintenance of operating room statistics
- Ensures the initial patient assessment and reassessments are performed following the hospital policy
- Ensures compliance with applicable laser safety standards for laser procedures performed in the O.R.
- Utilizes the Quality Improvement process to improve patient outcomes.
- Minimum Requirements
- Experience: Two years recent acute care RN perioperative experience. Previous experience in management of electronic Perioperative Services' programs and interfaces. Prior clinical experience with medical lasers.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Certifications: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona; BLS
