Job Description
Summary: Tank Holding Corporation (THC) is North America’s leading manufacturer of rotationally molded poly and welded steel bulk storage and material handling products. They are looking for a reliable and dedicated Assembly/QA Technician to support Below Ground Assembly operations and Quality control, ensuring accurate inventory and consistent product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the responsibilities of the work area and the stations
- Ensuring all safety procedures and policies in place are followed
- Perform Below below-ground assembly task according to production schedules and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly
- Apply decals, serial numbers, package finished product, production documentation
- Using power tools, chop saws, hoist, and other shop tools to complete tasks
- Final QC inspection of finished goods
- Operating sit down and stand-up reach fork truck (training and certification provided by THC)
- Conduct hands-on quality inspections of components and finished products to specifications
- Other duties as outlined below
Required Qualifications:
- Able to lift up to and including 50-70 pounds
- Can stand on your feet at least 10 hours a day, working at a dedicated assembly station
- Have an eye for detail and quality
- Enjoy a team-focused work environment
- Manufacturing experience - 1 year required
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly
- Using power tools, chop saws, hoist, and other shop tools to complete tasks
- Final QC inspection of finished goods
- Conduct hands-on quality inspections of components and finished products to specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school education preferred
- Manufacturing experience - 3 years preferred
Required Skills: Manufacturing experience, Quality control inspection
Important Skills: Blueprint reading, Power tools operation
Nice-to-Have Skills: Teamwork
