With annual revenues exceeding EUR 4.0 billion (2024), T-Systems stands as one of Europe’s foremost digital transformation partners, committed to shaping the future of enterprise technology. jobDescription **Responsibilities** **SAP Basis & System Administration** **Design, build, and support SAP automation deployment templates with focus on disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) capabilities** **Execute SAP Basis tasks including system performance troubleshooting, system refresh, restore, and recovery operations** **Perform SAP NetWeaver and S/4HANA upgrades, Unicode conversions, and downtime optimization for export/import activities** **Manage SAP migrations including DMO (Database Migration Option) for HANA conversions and nZDM/ZDO technologies** **Oracle Database Administration** **Administer Oracle EBS environments including installation, configuration, upgrading, and maintenance of all supporting technologies** **Execute Oracle database upgrades from 11g to 19c or latest versions with expertise in Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c** **Apply EBS patches, tech stack patches, database patches, CPU/PSU patches, and other necessary patches across all supporting products** **Perform routine DBA tasks including health checks, troubleshooting, installations, and performance analysis** **Conduct system copies, cloning, backup, and restore operations for Oracle EBS environments** **Fine-tune concurrent processing in large EBS environments and optimize database and application parameters** **HANA Database Administration** **Provide strong BASIS support for SAP NetWeaver and S/4HANA applications running on HANA databases** **Administer HANA databases with in-depth knowledge of installation, upgrades, refresh activities, and HA/DR configurations** **Perform detailed analysis of HANA mini checks and EWA reports to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks** **Optimize HANA system performance and troubleshoot complex database issues** **Manage HANA integration with Solution Manager and Focused Run environments** **Administer SYBASIS IQ as Near Line Storage solution** **Performance Optimization & Monitoring** **Monitor logs and analyze system performance across Oracle, HANA, and other database platforms** **Identify performance bottlenecks in application databases and implement fixes** **Utilize OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) for monitoring and management** **Develop and execute shell scripts for database and application performance analysis** **Cloud & Advanced Technologies** **Support SAP system migrations to public cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP** **Apply downtime optimization techniques for cloud-based deployments** **Configure HA/DR solutions for Sybase ASE and DB2 databases** **Demonstrate basic understanding of SAP HANA and cloud concepts** qualifications additionalInformation Please Note: Fraudulent job postings/job scams are increasingly common. Beware of misleading advertisements and fraudulent communication issuing 'offer letters' on behalf of T-Systems in exchange for a fee.
