Job Description
Summary: Kaplan is a global leader in education, serving over 1 million students each year. They are seeking highly motivated undergraduate students for a 9-week paid internship program where interns will work with a team on financial reporting and analysis, gaining real-world experience and participating in professional development workshops.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and participate in leadership workshops covering topics such as: Mentorship, Professional Development, and Networking opportunities
- Interns must be available for the 9-week program from June 8 - August 7 2026
- Learn alongside FP&A team the importance of models for unit economics reporting and analysis
- Work with finance managers to perform budgeting and planning activities
- Understand the basics of monthly/weekly reporting on key financial metrics and business trends
- Learn from Accounting team the monthly financial close process
- Learn how to perform ad hoc analytical support
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science or quantitative field
- Some undergraduate experience in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science or quantitative field
- Active undergraduate student in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year
- Demonstrated academic achievement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic and has a growth mindset, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities, adaptable, a critical thinker, organized and collaborative
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some experience with Excel (financial modeling, advanced functions, pivot tables, Power BI, macros, graphs/charts) and PowerPoint
