Make a Difference. Lead a Team. Build a Career That Matters.

At Superior Van & Mobility, we do more than sell and service vehicles—we help people regain independence and experience greater freedom in their everyday lives. Our team works with individuals and families to provide mobility solutions that can truly change lives.

We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused General Manager to lead one of our locations. This is an opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys developing employees, building relationships with customers, growing a business, and creating a workplace where people enjoy coming to work.

Our General Managers oversee the overall operational and financial performance of their location while leading the sales, service, administrative, and support teams. General Manager Revised 6.22

Why Superior Van & Mobility?

We believe great results come from great people—and that people do their best work when they feel valued, supported, and connected to a meaningful purpose.

At Superior, you'll find a family-oriented company culture, an opportunity to make a genuine difference in customers' lives, and a leadership team that values collaboration, accountability, and doing the right thing.

We also believe a successful career shouldn't require sacrificing your life outside of work. We strive to provide the kind of work-life balance and supportive environment where employees can build a rewarding long-term career while still having time for the people and things that matter to them.

What You'll Do

As General Manager, you'll take ownership of your location's performance while creating an environment where employees and customers are well cared for. You'll:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the location, including sales, service, parts, and administration
• Manage store performance and profitability, including reviewing monthly P&L results and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Establish and work toward sales and service goals for vehicles and adaptive mobility equipment
• Lead daily store meetings to keep departments informed, organized, and working toward common goals
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop employees
• Conduct performance evaluations and establish short- and long-term development goals
• Ensure employees understand and follow company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and required certifications
• Manage vehicle, product, and parts inventory
• Oversee CRM activity and lead management while coaching the sales team toward stronger performance and exceptional customer service
• Partner with Regional and Corporate leadership on staffing, operations, and company initiatives
• Maintain a professional, safe, clean, and welcoming location for employees and customers

The position description also includes responsibility for trade-in appraisals, corporate reporting, CRM oversight, inventory management, and assisting with Mobility Consultant duties when needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a leader who can balance people, performance, and purpose. The right candidate will be organized, approachable, accountable, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma required; additional education is a plus
• 3–5 years of management experience or senior-level industry experience
• At least 1–2 years of CRM experience
• At least 2 years of experience managing sales, service, and support employees
• Valid driver's license
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and people
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• A collaborative leadership style with strong interpersonal skills General Manager Revised 6.22

The Kind of Leader Who Thrives Here

You don't have to know everything on day one. But you should enjoy leading people, solving problems, taking ownership, and helping a team succeed.

We're looking for someone who understands that numbers matter—but so do people. Someone who can hold a team accountable while still creating a positive environment. And someone who recognizes that every vehicle we sell, every repair we complete, and every customer we serve connects back to a much bigger purpose:

Making Mobility Possible.
