Head of Performance Creative at STERRY in Remote

About STERRY

STERRY is a high-growth global e-commerce group operating a flagship women’s intimates direct-to-consumer brand ($50M USD annual run-rate). We scale through performance-driven creative velocity, AI-powered content pipelines, and high-converting direct-response (DR) messaging across Meta and Google.

We are hiring a Head of Performance Creative to own our end-to-end ad creative factory. We need a data-informed creative director and master storyteller who knows how to craft viral visual hooks, direct high-converting UGC pipelines, leverage cutting-edge AI creative tools, and manage an agile team of remote video editors, copywriters, and creative strategists.

The Role

You will bridge the gap between brand aesthetics and direct-response performance. Working directly with the Media Buying team, Creative Strategists, Head of Marketing and the CEO, you will own the creative production engine across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google/YouTube. Your primary mission is to systematically defeat ad fatigue by testing 500+ creative iterations per month, lifting hook rates, and driving scalable, profitable acquiring customers for our $50M DTC intimates brand.

What You'll Own

• High-Velocity Ad Production Engine: Own the end-to-end creative testing pipeline, producing 500+ direct-response ad variations per month (UGC edits, founder stories, problem-solution hooks, side-by-side fit comparisons, and unboxings) tailored for Meta Ads and Google/YouTube.

• AI Creative Automation & Generative Pipeline: Champion modern AI workflows (Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT/Claude for scriptwriting, AI voiceovers, and visual concept generation) to scale creative output, lower cost per asset, and speed up testing cycles 10x.

• Creative Analytics & Iteration: Analyze creative metrics daily alongside Media Buyers—focusing on 3-second hook rates, hold rates, outbound CTR, and downstream conversion rates (CVR)—to continuously iterate on winning creative angles.

• UGC & Creator Pipeline: Oversee creator briefs, UGC sourcing, and influencer creative seeding. Build structured briefing frameworks so creators deliver authentic, high-converting content that resonates with women's body-positivity and fit messaging.

• Brand Aesthetics & Ad Policy Compliance: Maintain brand trust and high-end aesthetic standards for women's intimates while strictly adhering to Meta and Google ad policies regarding body showcase, compliance, and claims.

• Remote Creative Pod Governance: Direct, mentor, and govern a remote team of creative strategists, video editors, motion designers, and copywriters using structured asynchronous workflows.

What You Bring

Required (Must-Haves):

• Fluent English (Mandatory): Full professional business fluency in spoken and written English to write compelling direct-response copy, brief creators, and collaborate with executive leadership.

• AI Power User & Prompt Specialist (Mandatory): Hands-on experience integrating generative AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Sora/AI video tools, ElevenLabs, Claude/ChatGPT) directly into creative production workflows.

• 5+ Years Performance Creative Mastery: Proven track record leading ad creative strategy for high-growth DTC brands ($20M–$100M revenue scale), with a portfolio of scalable, winning Meta and Google ad campaigns.

• Deep Data Literacy: Direct understanding of media buying metrics (hook rates, hold rates, CAC, MER, CVR) and how to translate data into actionable creative briefs.

• Intimates / Apparel Category Sensitivity: Deep empathy for the modern consumer, with a natural grasp of body positivity, sizing confidence, fit messaging, and aesthetic presentation.

  Strongly Preferred (Pluses):

• Hands-on experience producing TikTok/Reels native content and Shorts formats.

• Prior experience managing a distributed creative team across global time zones.

  Who you are:

• Data-Informed Creative: You don't make creative based purely on personal taste—you let hook rates and CAC define what works.

• Systems & Process Builder: You build predictable briefing templates, asset libraries, and AI prompt databases to keep production scalable and organized.

• High-Speed Storyteller: You know how to capture attention in the first 3 seconds and drive emotional resonance that leads to checkout.

  What We Offer

• Competitive base salary + performance-based profit share / bonus.

• 100% remote flexibility with global autonomy.

• Full ownership over multi-million-dollar ad budget creative strategies.
