What We Do

SteadyState Work Partners is a human capital consulting firm specializing in human capital risk mitigation.

We work with organizations when a valuable person's Heat-of-the-Moment actions or inaction are creating business consequences—and knowing better hasn't been enough to stop it.

Our proprietary TAU Core™ intervention develops the I Caught Myself Reflex™: the ability to interrupt an automatic reaction before it becomes consequential action or inaction.

The Problem You Will Sell Against

By the time SteadyState enters the conversation, an employer may already have spent:

• $1,850 on a five-day leadership program.
• $2,795 on emotional-intelligence training.
• $3,195 on leadership-focused emotional-intelligence training.
• $3,000+ on a private conflict-management workshop.
• $18,500 developing a high-potential leader.
• $57,000 on an executive leadership-development program.

And they may still have:

• The conflict.
• The complaints.
• The customer problem.
• The repeated performance incident.
• The manager who knows exactly what they are supposed to do—and still doesn't do it in the moment.
• The valued employee who is considering leaving due to burnout.
• The employee the organization is now considering terminating.

Then comes the expensive part:

Replacing a salaried employee can cost as much as 150% of annual salary.

For a $100,000 employee, that's as much as $150,000.

They may have spent thousands developing the person—and still face the cost of losing and replacing them.

That's where SteadyState enters.

• Originate and close corporate and individual business.
• Bring qualified buyers into the SteadyState sales process.
• Work directly with the founder as opportunities develop.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline and follow-up activity.

• Strong relationship-development and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently in an early commercial-stage company.
• Comfortable with commission-only compensation.

Preferred Backgrounds

• Commercial insurance or risk services

• Human resources consulting
• Management consulting
• Workforce solutions
• Executive search
• Professional services
• Other complex, high-value B2B services

Ideal Candidate

You have actually created business, not just managed accounts someone else handed you.

You should be able to hear:

“We relocated this manager six months ago. They're excellent at the job, but we're dealing with complaints again and now they're talking about leaving.”

…and immediately start thinking:

What has the company already invested? What has already been tried? What is happening operationally? What is at risk? What will replacing this person cost?

If your instinct is simply, “They need leadership training,” this probably isn't your sale.

Where This Can Go

SteadyState is in commercial launch. We are building the sales function now—not hiring someone to inherit one.

A successful partner may be considered for SteadyState's planned compensated business-development leadership position as revenue and financing milestones are reached.

The Question

Can you find the organization that has already spent money trying to solve the problem, still has the problem, and now has more money at risk if it continues?

We should talk.
