Job Description
Summary: The State of Indiana operates Evansville State Hospital, which provides treatment and recovery services for individuals with chronic mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The Program Coordinator will compile program information, coordinate correspondence, maintain files and assets, organize reports and applications, and prepare training materials.
Responsibilities:
- Compile information relative to the assigned program area
- Coordinate correspondence for information requests
- Organize and maintain current and historical files related to the program
- Organize program reports, applications, and maintain consultative services
- Maintain and organize program assets
- Prepare all program related training materials
Required Qualifications:
- General knowledge of the program area
- Basic knowledge of the rules and regulations pertaining to the assigned program area and its affects upon other agency operations
- Ability to gather and compile program materials
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process
- Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- A degree is not required
- Individuals should have the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
