Job Description

They are seeking a Legal Administrative Support role to provide administrative assistance in a fast-paced civil litigation environment, with opportunities for career development in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support and assistance to Law Department colleagues, including rotation reception duties
- Reception area/phone responsibilities
- Processing mail
- Electronic filing in Philadelphia, Chester, Bucks, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties
- Requesting, preparing, follow up on discovery
- Ordering records via subpoena request
- Other tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Previous Experience preferred: Office environment experience
- Previous Experience preferred: Strong customer service background
- Previous Experience preferred: Legal experience is a plus
- Key Skills Required: Strong organizational skills, prioritizing, decision making, multitasking, time management, and proactivity
- Key Skills Required: Strong written and oral communication skills (attention to detail, accuracy of data entry)
- Key Skills Required: Accurate typing skills
- Key Skills Required: Knowledge of legal and medical terminology, local and state rules regarding pleadings and pre-trial matters, deadlines, and filing requirements is a competitive advantage
- Key Skills Required: Experience with medical records collection through subpoenas and/or authorizations is a competitive advantage
- Technology/software Experience Required: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Technology/software Experience Required: Working knowledge of a Case Management system
- Technology/software Experience Required: Working knowledge of a Document Storage system
