Now Baking – assembler, Starbucks Reserve Kitchen! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by service to others. Starbucks Reserve & Roastery is responsible for stewarding the Starbucks Reserve brand within a portfolio of unique flagship locations, Starbucks Reserve Stores and Culinary Kitchens across the US.

Starbucks Reserve Kitchen teams use their knowledge and expertise to craft fresh food offerings with impeccable ingredients to inspire and delight customers in our Reserve & Roastery locations. These are energetic environments for culinary ambassadors who want to deliver consistent quality in handcrafted pastries, cakes, focaccia-style pizza, artisanal baked breads, and more.

A porter contributes to Starbucks success by maintaining Reserve Kitchen facilities daily.  The kitchen porter helps to keep the kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. This role ensures cooking equipment such as pots and pans are cleaned quickly and ready for chefs and cooks to use.

As an assembler you will:

• Manage delivery of food, returns and equipment into the kitchen.
• Ensure the organization of dry storage, storerooms and walk-ins within the kitchen.
• Organize all store orders.
• Assist in documentation for all products going in and out of the kitchen.
• Work with departments to ensure accuracy of all in-store deliveries.
• Support the maintenance, repair and upkeep and cleaning of the kitchen and other areas as appropriate.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by leaders.

We would love to hear from people with:

• Experienced in warehouse receiving and organization – 2 years
• Commercial warehouse experience – 2 years
• Off Site catering warehouse experience (ideal)
• Current local health and safety certifications
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English required. Additional languages are beneficial.
• Ability to build strong relationships and engage across differing cultures and societies
