Business Development / Commercialization Lead at Star Matrix… · Remote

Who we are

Star Matrix is a software, R&D, and AI company. We build our own technology and products in-house — vertically integrated — and operate as a parent research and holding entity above a small set of focused, independently-positioned product lines.

• R&D — applied research in AI, simulation, and agent infrastructure, used to seed new products.
• Product Holding — we own and operate product lines, each with its own brand, audience, and go-to-market.
• B2B Contracting — our research and engineering capability, available to enterprise clients for applied work outside the owned product lines.

The role

You'd own the commercialization of one of our product lines, end to end.

We're not handing you a script, a warm list, or a sales kit. You get a deep, technical product — full access, live demos, and the engineers who built it — plus a founder for the last mile. You build the commercial story, find the buyers, and run the motion. Low volume, high touch, high ticket: a small number of accounts, each done properly.

• Learn the product deeply, and turn it into a story you can defend in a room
• Identify the buyers with the budget and the problem — researched individually, real decision-makers, no bought lists, no generic blasts
• Own the full cycle: outreach, pipeline, sales conversations, contract close
• Convert the first deal into an ongoing engagement — that's where the real value is

What you get

Commission-only: 35% of the revenue you generate, capped at the first $1M of revenue. The role is built for serious, high-value accounts, and the structure is designed to reward exactly that.

Who this fits

• Entrepreneurial — you want to own a commercial outcome, not execute someone else's playbook
• You can learn deep, technical products fast
• You've sold to mid-market / corporate buyers (any sector)
• You research a company well enough to open with a specific, true observation — and you don't invent facts
• You're direct; you won't discount to close
