WHO ARE WESt Agnes’ Catholic Parish is a not-for-profit organisation has been serving the Port Macquarie community since 1878, offering compassionate support to people of all ages and life stages.With over 700 staff across a range of ministries, including aged care, community and family, education and training, and ministry and pastoral, the Parish works to support the dignity, wellbeing and needs of the community.As a values-driven organisation, all roles within the Parish actively contribute to our shared mission and uphold the principles the Parish was built on.ABOUT THE ROLESt Agnes’ Catholic Parish is seeking Cleaners to join our Residential Services team across Emmaus Home and St Agnes’ Residential Care.As a Cleaner, you’ll play an important role in creating a safe, clean and welcoming home for our residents. Working as part of the wider residential care team, you’ll deliver high-quality cleaning services while respecting residents’ dignity, choices, independence, cultural backgrounds and individual needs.Casual opportunities are available, with a variety of morning, afternoon and night shifts across seven days.The main responsibilities of the role are -Deliver a high standard of cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areasComplete routine and project cleaning in accordance with established schedules and proceduresFollow infection prevention and control, hygiene and Work Health and Safety requirementsSafely use, store and maintain cleaning chemicals, equipment and suppliesManage waste in accordance with Parish policies and proceduresComplete required cleaning records and documentationMonitor cleaning supplies and ensure adequate stock is maintainedRespond to unexpected or urgent cleaning requirements as neededInteract with residents respectfully and support their dignity, choice, independence and individual needsWHAT WE OFFER OUR EMPLOYEES Competitive remuneration package available - $31.86 PH + Plus casual loading, shift & penalty allowanceWorking for a reputable, longstanding, values-based organisation A commitment to providing a responsive and supportive work environment An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family.
