| Job Description The Surgical Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic procedures by the application of ionizing radiation to produce radiographic images under a variety of conditions, and assisting physicians as required with the selection of practical applications and technical factors. Job Relationships Reports to the Diagnostic Imaging Operations Manager Principal Responsibilities
Education/Experience Must be a graduate of a JRCERT approved school of Radiology, and provide proof of current active certification with the ARRT. Licenses/Certificates Must maintain current active registration with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiography. Must maintain current active licensure in Radiology with IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency-Division of Nuclear Safety). CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines required within 30 days of hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
