Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Part time at Sprenger… · Amherst…
Job Description
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – In-House
If you’ve worked in SNF therapy under a contract model and felt like the company’s priorities didn’t always match your patients’ needs — this role is intentionally different.
We are an in-house, family-owned therapy organization — not a contract therapy company. Our therapy teams are clinician-led and clinician-supported, so you can focus on what you were trained to do — delivering meaningful, patient-centered care that changes lives.
Why Therapists Choose Sprenger Therapy
- In-house therapy model — your loyalty is to your residents, not a contract company’s bottom line
- Therapy time protected — no routine non-therapy tasks pulling you away from patients
- Clinical judgment respected — autonomy is valued
- Mentorship available — support that goes beyond orientation
- Stable, family-oriented culture — leadership is present and accessible
- Care decisions guided by outcomes and patient needs — not short-term volume
Our therapy teams operate differently — and it shows in our retention and culture.

- Assist with treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, and patient progression
- Deliver patient-centered interventions focused on mobility, strength, function, and safety

- Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Active PTA license in good standing
- Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- New graduates welcome — mentorship provided from day one
Pay & Benefits

- Flexible scheduling
- Generous 401(k) with company match
- Continuing education units (CEUs) — available
- Paid time off and vacation pay
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-paid life insurance
