Role Overview

We are looking for a Presales Engineer who can work closely with sales and technical teams to understand customer requirements, design suitable technology solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and support the sales cycle from technical discovery through proposal and closure.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, AI/Generative AI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot studio and cloud technologies along with good communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer business and technical requirements and translate them into appropriate technology solutions.
• Work closely with the sales team to support customer discussions, technical discovery, proposals, and solution positioning.
• Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), workshops, and technical presentations.
• Design high-level solution architectures based on customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for AI agents, Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Azure services, automation, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution documents, presentations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to validate solution feasibility, effort, architecture, and implementation approach.
• Support estimation, sizing, licensing discussions, and preparation of commercials in coordination with the sales team.
• Stay updated on Microsoft technologies, Azure services, AI/GenAI developments, Copilot capabilities, and emerging cloud solutions.
• Participate in customer meetings and clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer engagements through additional solutions and use cases.
• Support the transition of won opportunities from presales to the delivery team.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Generative AI, and AI agents, Microsft copilot Studio
• Understanding of cloud architecture, APIs, integrations, automation, and security concepts.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts is an added advantage.
• Ability to create solution architectures and technical presentations.
• Experience with POCs, demos, workshops, and customer-facing technical discussions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Good to Have

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305, AI-102, or related certifications.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio.
• Experience building or demonstrating AI agents and GenAI solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph.
• Exposure to cybersecurity solutions and Cloud Platform specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working on SOW, RFP/RFI responses , enterprise solution proposals.

Experience

3–6 years of experience in Presales, Solution Engineering, Cloud Consulting, Solution Architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
