Vascular Surgeon Jobs in Wilmington, DE: Your Wound Expertise, a Better Way to Practice

Few specialists understand chronic wounds like a Vascular Surgeon. You’ve spent your career treating the arterial and venous disease behind non-healing ulcers and fighting for limb salvage. But with a nationwide shortage of vascular surgeons, many carry heavy call schedules, get pulled in overnight for ruptured aneurysms and acute limb ischemia, and spend long hours in lead aprons during endovascular cases. Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, is hiring Vascular Surgeons in Wilmington, DE to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

Maybe you’re a Vascular Surgeon ready to step away from emergency call, long OR days and the physical strain of the procedure suite. Maybe you want a part-time role alongside your current practice. Either way, this no-call Vascular Surgeon job offers a high-impact career without the corporate red tape.

Why Vascular Surgeons in Wilmington, DE Choose Wound Care

In a specialty where being on call can mean a 2 a.m. ruptured aneurysm or an emergency limb salvage case, we offer a refreshing alternative:

• The “No-Call” Lifestyle: No nights, no weekends and no pagers. No middle-of-the-night vascular emergencies. This is a true Monday–Friday surgeon job, so your evenings and weekends belong to you and your family.
• Put Your Wound Expertise to Work: Arterial ulcers, venous ulcers and diabetic foot wounds are already part of your world. Your vascular training makes you a natural fit for wound care.
• Keep Your Surgical Skills: Surgical debridement and bedside procedures stay part of your daily practice.
• A Sustainable Surgical Career: Leave behind long cases and hours in heavy lead aprons. Bedside procedures are far easier on your back, neck and shoulders, so you can keep practicing for years to come.
• Clinical Autonomy: Direct patient outcomes based on your surgical expertise, not a hospital committee or department hierarchy.
• Smarter Documentation: Our custom software is designed to slash admin time, so you’re not stuck charting at midnight when you could be home at a reasonable hour.
