As ManagerforIT Operations, you will lead the team responsible for on-premises infrastructure, end-user computing, networking, and IT service management across our global footprint. You will own vendor relationships, drive operational consistency across offices, and act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and connectivity challenges.
In this role, you will combine technical depth with leadership to build a high-performing team that delivers stable, secure, and well-governed IT services globally — while continuously raising the bar on how we operate.
What you will be responsible for
Lead and develop the IT Operations team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and operational excellence
Own the reliable delivery of on-premises infrastructure, end-user computing, and network connectivity across officesglobally
Serve as the senior escalation point for 3rd line incidents and complex operational issues, ensuring timely and sustainable resolution
Own and manage key vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring suppliers deliver to agreed standards and that SimCorp gets full value from its partnerships
Drive improvements in operational processes, monitoring, and incident management to strengthen service stability and efficiency
Ensure IT operations meet the compliance and control requirements
Partner with cloud, and platform teams to maintain a coherent and well-integrated IT environment globally
What we value
Experience leading technical IT operations teams with responsibility for infrastructure, end-user computing, or enterprise networking
Hands-on understanding of on-premises environments — servers, networking, connectivity, and the operational realities of supporting a distributed office footprint
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and hold suppliers accountable to contractual commitments
Comfort operating in a regulated environment, with an appreciation for the governance and control requirements that come with financial services
Strong incident management instincts — able to lead through complexity and keep stakeholders informed under pressure
A leadership mindset focused on team development, clear ownership, and continuous improvement
Ability to engage credibly with both technical specialists and senior business stakeholders across a globalorganization
