Senior Account Executive at Shuttlebase in New York, NY

Why Shuttlebase?

Every day, millions of people decide whether to buy something online, and the reasons behind those decisions are still mostly guesswork. We want to change that.

We're working to quantify human psychology: to build an embedding model for human behavior that understands how people react to a page, a price, or a single sentence, and can predict what will work before anyone runs a test.

Every experiment our AI runs on a live store teaches that model something about how people decide. Our goal is for any company to be able to ask, "I'm selling product X to audience Y, how do I optimize for Z?" and get an answer it can trust.

We're early and well funded. The people who join now will pick the tools, design the models, and help choose who joins next. If that's a problem you want to spend the next few years on, we'd like to meet you.

The Role We don’t hire traditional salespeople. We hire entrepreneurial sellers who act like co-founders in their territories. As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll engage directly with high-value eCommerce brands, solve complex challenges, and guide customers to realize the full potential of Shuttlebase. You’ll leverage these experiences to inform product development, refine processes, and build repeatable GTM strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Own & Drive Revenue: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Your deals will have high impact, often in the seven-figure range.
• Experiment & Build: Work with customers to understand their challenges, prototype creative solutions, and feed insights back to product and marketing teams.
• Be a Trusted Advisor: Translate complex business problems into Shuttlebase solutions. Partner with Customer Success to ensure long-term value.
• Shape GTM & Playbooks: Help refine our ICP, messaging, and sales processes. Bring market insights and ideas that will directly influence strategy and product.
• Learn & Iterate: Every engagement is an opportunity to test hypotheses, uncover new features, and improve the Shuttlebase experience for every customer.

Who You Are

• Experienced & Entrepreneurial: 4–7+ years in SaaS or MarTech sales, ideally with experience in eCommerce or digital-first companies.
• Strategic & Resourceful: Skilled at multi-threaded, consultative sales cycles and building business cases that clearly articulate ROI.
• Founder-Minded: Excited to build playbooks, processes, and strategies, not just follow them.
• Relationship-Oriented: Able to build trust quickly with executives and technical stakeholders alike.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable discussing AI, automation, and data workflows in real-world business terms.
• Ownership-Driven: Low ego, high accountability, thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Why Join Shuttlebase?

• High-Impact Work: Sell a category-defining AI product that creates measurable, immediate value.
• Fast-Growing Startup: Be part of a scaling company with the resources to succeed and the freedom to experiment.

Career Acceleration: High performers can quickly move into leadership or enterprise-focused roles.

What We Value

• Curiosity and excellence: We're trying to understand why people decide what they do, so asking questions is the job. We push on each other's ideas, and a failed experiment teaches us as much as a winning one.
• Whatever it takes: If something needs doing, whoever can do it does it, whatever their title. Our clients' results are our results.
• Ownership: Shipping something is where the work starts. You follow it all the way to the result, and when you get something wrong, you say so and fix it. We keep our promises, the big ones and the small ones.
• Agility: Most ideas go from whiteboard to working prototype in two or three days. If something isn't working, we drop it fast, and nobody holds it against you.
• Enjoy the ride: Building something new comes with rough weeks. We get through them together and celebrate the good ones.
