Senior Financial Analyst - Multiple Roles at Shopify in Remote

Finance’s mission is to help support Shopify’s growth over the long-term and ensure we achieve our objective of making commerce better for everyone. We are trusted advisors and growth partners to the business, always striving to learn, provide insights, solve complex problems and contribute positive impact. Finance plays an important role at the strategic planning table and helps influence the future direction of Shopify.

We’re looking for multiple Financial Analysts and Senior Financial Analysts to join our FP&A teams across Commercial Finance, Merchant Services, and Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. In these roles, you will provide financial planning, analysis, and decision support to one or more areas of Shopify’s business, including Shopify Capital, Banking products, etc.

We are seeking talented individuals who, in addition to the above, have a passion for learning and leveraging technologies such as SQL, Python and AI to drive impactful data analysis and transform our financial processes. Your responsibilities will include leading initiatives that automate processes, extract insights from massive datasets, and leverage cutting-edge AI tools to enhance our financial strategies. We think of Shopify as a crafter centric company where meetings come second to getting shit done. If you are an enthusiastic professional who’s looking to drive outcomes, who’s seeking to expand your experience in data analysis while pushing the boundaries of what's possible with cutting-edge tools, we would love to have you on board.

Shopify was built by thriving on change and pivoting quickly, so part of this process entails having that same mindset and keeping an open mind to the growth opportunities within the Finance team.

Please note that this posting will be used to fill roles on the teams at both the Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst levels. Should your application move forward to the next stage, our hiring team will reach out and let you know for which level you are being considered.
