Compliance and Risk Specialist
Location: Quincy, MA
Job Summary:
The Compliance & Risk Specialist supports the organization’s compliance, audit, and risk management functions. This role is responsible for coordinating audits and legal requests, maintaining compliance documentation, supporting regulatory reporting activities, and ensuring timely follow-through on corrective actions and compliance initiatives.
Job Description:
• Perform monthly OIG employee and vendor exclusion screenings.
• Draft and maintain compliance policies and annual acknowledgment tracking within PolicyHub.
• Answer compliance related questions timely.
• Coordinate with external compliance teams on patient related events at joint venture partner locations.
• Maintain compliance, audit, and risk management documentation.
• Document and track compliance and risk events within Quantros, including RCA and corrective action follow-up.
• Coordinate Department of Public Health (DPH) reporting activities and monitor associated deadlines and corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal and external compliance audits, including investigation of findings and corrective action monitoring.
• Conduct ad hoc audits related to coding, documentation, ordering, billing, and operational concerns.
• Coordinate legal requests, depositions, and lawsuit-related documentation with external counsel for patient related cases.
• Analyze risk management trends and assist with implementation of improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate PAS BAA program activities through Monday.com and DocuSign.
• Support compliance education initiatives, staff communications, and special projects as assigned.
Additional Job Description:
Experience in healthcare compliance, healthcare administration, audit coordination, risk management, or regulatory operations preferred.
Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
The pay range for this position is $63,514-$115,000 + bonus + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
