About the role
You know the directors of Italian universities, business schools and academies by name? This role is for you.
We are looking for a senior professional who has lived the education sector for years, has a portfolio of active relationships and can open doors from day one. Not a profile to train: a professional who brings the market with them.
You will report directly to the Head of EduQa International Markets and work alongside the Italian team (BDRs and account management). You will:
- Open and close new strategic accounts: universities, business schools, academies, vocational and online training providers
- Own the full sales cycle, from first contact to signature, with deals involving management, finance and admissions
- Activate your network from the first weeks and turn it into real pipeline
- Negotiate commercial terms and structure agreements tailored to each institution
- Represent EduQa at trade fairs, events and sector associations
- Bring what you hear from clients back to our market and product teams
What you'll need
At least 7 years of B2B sales, including at least 4 in the education sector (universities, business schools, training, edtech or services for educational institutions)
An active, verifiable network of decision makers in Italian education: managing directors, CFOs, heads of admissions and marketing
A measurable track record: targets exceeded, deals closed, new markets or segments opened
Experience with complex sales involving long cycles and multiple stakeholders
Full autonomy in managing your own pipeline
Native Italian and fluent English; Spanish is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, payments, consumer credit or student financing
- Knowledge of public universities and their procurement processes
- Hands-on use of a CRM (HubSpot or similar)
