Responsibilities:
- Locate, collect and organize products from assigned lists
- Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping
- Understand brands, departments, and internal inventory systems
- Execute assigned projects to complete the task on time, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and goals
- Communicate with leadership and other team members to resolve problems or questions
- Recover displays up to standards - Rehanging, folding, and stocking items in an organized and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Effectively communicate with all associates
- All other duties as assigned
- Locate, collect and organize products from assigned lists
Education & Experience:
An ideal candidate will have a minimum of a High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED); one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of both.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates. Associates are expected to follow all safety procedures and perform their job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury.
Compensation:
Seasonal Associates earn $16.00/hr
Schedule:
Seasonal Associates are staffed in October, November and December. This position will end employment at the conclusion of the holiday season. Commonly scheduled shifts include morning/daytime shifts and evening/weekend shifts. Must be available to work the weekend of Thanksgiving starting with Black Friday (Nov 27, 28, 29 and 30th).
